Job Description
Authomize is seeking a talented, ambitious and experienced Head of Sales. As Head of Sales, you will be responsible for architecting a sales strategy and building a team of Account Executives and SDR across the enterprise and mid-market sales. In addition, the person should be excited by selling into new markets, strategizing the following steps, negotiating complex deals, and beating the competition in head-to-head opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing strategic plans to reach sales targets.
- Build long-lasting, strong customer relationships while partnering with them to better understand their business objectives and needs.
- Identify and generate new sales leads through effective prospecting –including competitive analysis, data analysis, and industry trends. Developing and promoting weekly, monthly, and quarterly.
- Understand industry-specific trends and landscapes.
- Effectively communicate value propositions through presentations and proposals.
- Report on forces that shift strategic directions of accounts and tactical budgets.
Requirements
- Experience managing AE and SDR functions and a track record of exceeding quota.
- CloudSec or SecOps sales experience a must (both – an advantage).
- Proven experience in early-stage startups.
- Possess extensive knowledge of sales principles and practices and can coach others on them.
- Experience selling to Fortune 500 with an annual deal size of 100k to $1M.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, using complex data and metrics to back up assumptions and recommendations and drive actions.
- Strength in problem-solving, issue-resolution, ability to work in a deadline-driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Able to drive deals from prospecting and pipeline development to closing
- Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and writing skills.
- Self-starter, able to work independently and travel frequently.
