About The Position

Our team is growing, and we are looking for an experienced Logistics Manager to help take part in building autonomous tractors.

The position requires being responsible for all logistic tasks related to the assembly line and operations.

Dynamic work environment, requires working as a team, being open-minded, and being problem-solving oriented.

This position is based in Reedley CA and involves physical work.

Responsibilities - what you’ll be doing:

Responsible for all logistics tasks related to the assembly line and operations, while occasionally supporting the assembly line with mechanical mechanisms, electronic devices, and wiring.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Performs work in accordance with all safety procedures and policies, as well as meets all company corporate requirements related to safety.
  • Works safely in accordance with company’s safety program requirements and wear all the required personal protective equipment.
  • Manage and supervise the Shipping and Receiving Departments in a controlled, organized, and professional manner.
  • Manage the coordination of logistics activities for selected projects, including logistics planning, training, supply chain activities from point of manufacturing through support, deployment, freight, warehousing, customer freight, order management, customer store shipment. Identify logistics issues and provide leadership in developing solutions such as re-allocation of resources or modifying manufacturing or supply chain processes.
  • Manage the development and implementation of annual and long-term technical, schedule, quality, business, and financial objectives for logistic activities and participate in the development of overall unit/Division/Group annual and long-term objectives.
  • Maintain the strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Manage the development and implementation of business processes and procedures to gain the most effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Contribute to the preparation and dissemination of information to senior leadership.
  • Working with procurement manager abroad and provide support to multiple locations.
  • Review daily/weekly/monthly achievement of KPIs and report variances.
  • Analyze logistics data, identifying and predicting deviations from process, and making procedural changes to take advantage of increased opportunity for efficiency or correct inefficiencies within the logistics systems.
