We seek a talented, creative, and versatile Content Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will craft clear, engaging, and empathetic content for our digital products, ensuring every word and experience enhances the user journey. You should feel comfortable with and excited to leverage and adapt to digital tools and platforms to support content creation and delivery workflows. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will create microcopy, UX writing, and other forms of content that reflect our brand voice and values.

In this role you will

  • Ideate and create on-brand product content, with the ability to adapt to various writing styles and content formats, ranging from microcopy, longform, video, and audio.
  • Work with product managers, designers, engineers, and others on content that enhances the user experience.
  • Develop and uphold Empathy's voice and tone guidelines.
  • Handle multiple projects and meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality deliverables.

Requirements

  • 2+ years in a content-focused role at a startup, with experience working closely with Product or Design teams.
  • Native English speaker with proven written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in various forms of content creation, including UX writing, product content, short and long-form pieces.
  • Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail.
  • Technical aptitude and experience working with digital platforms; familiarity with video and audio creation is a plus.
  • Capable of delivering high-quality and high-volume work under tight deadlines while managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Team-player with excellent collaboration skills.
  • User-focused mindset and empathetic approach.
