Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Optical Engineer to join our laser HW team. You will be working in the optical laboratory, building and aligning the current and next-generations of optical solvers. You will have the opportunity to test novel designs and concepts that challenge the current understanding of the systems’ most basic properties. This role requires exceptional technical understanding and a demonstrated record of success working with optical, lasers and other related complex systems.

Key Responsibilities

· Construct complex free-space optical systems based on detailed protocols

· Perform system alignment and calibration

· Conduct tests and measurements to validate system designs and performance

· Analyze experimental data and provide performances understanding

· Collaborate with optical, mechanical and electrical engineer on system design and building

· Be involved in research and development creating techniques to represent hard mathematical problems as a physical light based system utilizing diffractive optical elements patterns and laser light

Requirements

· B.Sc./M.Sc. in Physics, EE, Optical Engineering, or a related field

· 2+ years hands-on experience of free-space optical hardware development, alignment and testing

· Proficiency in optical measurements

· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

· Strong communication and teamwork abilities
