Your mission
We’re seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer (m/f/d) based in Germany, who will serve as the lead technical point of contact for providing expert customer service, troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, and emergency response for advanced equipment and systems installed at client sites. This position combines technical expertise with project leadership skills to deliver an exceptional service experience.
- Lead onsite troubleshooting, diagnosis, repair, and preventative maintenance.
- Direct and manage Technical service development from beginning to end, including SOP's, KPI's and manuals.
- Managing and updating technical documentation in areas of expertise.
- Thoroughly document all service procedures, parts replacements, diagnostics, error codes, fixes, and site observations in customer files.
- Advise clients on equipment care best practices and help develop customized maintenance plans.
- Assist in testing new products, solutions, and product enhancements and provide feedback to engineering teams.
- Develop and lead a team of service technicians, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Ongoing transfer of information and training to other service technicians.
- Coordinating service tasks with customers.
- Organizing and maintaining orderly spare parts inventory.
- Ongoing direct contact supplier’s technical team abroad.
- Implementing and overseeing quality assurance protocols.
- Reporting of quality complaints and safety reports.
