Your mission
We are looking for a talented R&D Engineer (m/f/d) to lead innovative fluidic system projects from concept to product development. In this role, you will combine hands-on laboratory work with design expertise to develop instrumentation to test cutting-edge prototypes. If you have a passion for fluidic system design and thrive in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment, we’d love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
Project Ownership: Lead test-system projects from concept through prototyping and assembly to performing the required system tests. These systems include small volume (less than 1L) vessels, with gas and liquid connections with a high degree of automation.
Collaboration & Design: Work with other engineers and scientists to develop test instrument concepts based on the requirements of the device under test. Create P&IDs and instrument designs in collaboration with electrical and mechanical engineers. Work with automation engineers to define automation requirements and test sequences.
Prototype Development & Testing: Select and source suitable components and assemble the test instruments in collaboration with other engineers. Create and execute test plans, and analyze results to assess submodule performance, operating parameters and identify areas for improvement.
Product Development & Technology Transfer & Support: Transfer knowledge and test results to the product development team and participate in design reviews. Review product submodule designs and advise on test protocols and instrumentation. Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting.
