The Role

Join our early-stage company and help revolutionize the cloud FinOps space as a key member of our initial Go-To-Market team. At PointFive, we are on a mission to help organizations worldwide become more efficient in their cloud spending.

We are seeking a highly motivated, hands-on B2B Marketing Director to communicate the value of PointFive’s platform to large enterprise companies. This results-driven individual will expand our marketing efforts, generate a robust pipeline, and work cross-functionally to provide a best-in-class customer experience. Prior experience in brand and performance marketing is essential. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to generate top-of-funnel leads, building brand awareness and optimizing conversion rates. The ideal candidate will be data-driven, innovative, and proficient in marketing tools and techniques.

Key Responsibilities

  • Marketing Strategy Development: Create and implement a cutting-edge marketing strategy that aligns with our ambitious growth targets

  • Brand Management: Own the overall story and perception of the PointFive brand through all customer interactions and tailored campaigns

  • Understand our customers, market trends, and the competitive landscape to develop differentiated positioning, messaging, and value proposition

  • Content and Social Media Marketing: Direct content creation and social media strategies to engage the community, drive brand awareness, and support sales

  • Campaign Development & Execution: Lead the ideation, execution, and optimization of multi-channel marketing campaigns, including product releases, events, webinars, email marketing, leveraging both traditional and digital marketing channels

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, sales, customer success, and support teams to improve engagement and conversion metrics throughout the funnel, ensuring a unified customer journey

  • Create compelling sales tools and collateral (product demos, presentations, brochures, videos) that effectively communicate our product features and benefits

  • Data Analytics & Performance Tracking: Utilize marketing data analytics to track performance, refine strategies, and measure activity through advanced attribution models

  • Revenue Opportunities Identification: Strategize and act on revenue opportunities, such as new use cases, pricing, features, or audience segments


  • 5+ years of marketing experience in B2B Enterprise Marketing, preferably in the Cloud Computing/Dev tools industry.

  • Technically minded with exposure to services and products on Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform.

  • Creative problem-solver with the ability to deeply understand the customer context and translate this into clear, concise, and creative output.

  • Exceptional analytical abilities to pivot strategies based on data insights.

  • Storyteller (verbal and written) with a strong understanding of creative, content, and community engagement.

  • Extensive knowledge of all key organic and re-engagement marketing channels, including SEO, social media marketing, and email marketing.

  • Ability to operate effectively, hands-on in a fast-paced and evolving team environment.
