About the Role

Riskified is seeking a Vice President of Global Demand Generation. We’re looking for someone who is passionate and curious about how Riskified applies AI to ecommerce growth and fraud prevention. You should be creative in your approach, a natural teacher, and an empathetic coach with a proven track record for developing top marketing talent and impacting sales outcomes with strong marketing programs.

Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, this individual will lead a global campaigns and performance marketing team, and a geographically dispersed team of regional field & event marketers in APAC, EMEA, and AMER.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Inspire, grow, and provide clear leadership to a team of high-performing, data-driven marketers who, under your leadership, will deliver qualified and predictable sales pipeline at scale.
  • Partner cross-functionally with leaders in business development, sales, account management, partnerships, and marketing to establish quarterly priorities and set targets for new logo generation and active pipeline acceleration - leading the development of strategic and tactical plans to attain those targets.
  • Develop and execute regional integrated campaigns for target ecommerce verticals that leverage differentiated positioning to create engagement across a wide range of channels: digital, email, web, direct mail, PPC, 3rd party paid media, first and third party events, and ABX.
  • Simplify complicated analyses to communicate clear performance narratives to our executive leadership. Partnering with our marketing analytics team to evolve easy-to-use reporting or visualization dashboards for the team such as: demand funnel, marketing planning and budgeting, marketing ROI, operational efficiency, campaign impact, events, and strategic KPIs.
  • Set a vision and strategy for growing the share of wallet (cross-sell, up-sell) for our merchant accounts leveraging a mix of highly personalized programs, virtual and physical events, and peer community interactions.
  • Experiment creatively and closely analyze the effectiveness (pipe-to-spend ratio) of regional marketing programs to learn and optimize future programs.
  • Set the standard for pre-during-post event journeys for our top-tier industry events, and our flagship first-party event: Ascend.


  • You have 10-15+ years of demand generation experience leading teams of teams within high tech B2B companies.
  • You have a deep understanding of the retail ecommerce industry. Bonus points for experience in the online fraud domain.
  • You are naturally curious and want to deeply understand Riskified’s customer segmentation, buying committee members, AI technology, product-market fit as you know that will inform an effective demand generation strategy
  • You are a strong leader with excellent communication and people skills, and a player-coach mindset. Your former employees would gush if we called for a reference check. You get joy from collaborating, sharing your skills and knowledge with others and in making the business even smarter.
  • You have a record of attaining - and often beating - your KPI targets
  • You have experience unlocking growth in international markets including Europe, UKI, Southeast Asia, LATAM, and Japan. You are comfortable guiding teams as they translate, localize, and execute regional campaigns
  • You have experienced the pace and agility of high growth tech-enabled companies, but also know how to stretch every dollar to maximum effect
  • You have hands-on experience running ABX campaigns with demonstrated success penetrating key accounts at the enterprise level and by buyer persona. Bonus points for 6sense experience.
  • You are tech-forward and curious about modern demand generation best practices
  • You have strong skills using data, insights, and trends to understand customer behavior with a test-and-adjust mentality
  • You are excellent at setting measurable objectives, managing defined timelines and budgets for a diverse set of global and regional campaigns

The base salary range for this position is $220,000-$230,000 (not including an annual bonus on top of this range). This range is applicable to candidates who will perform the job either wholly, or in part, within New York City. Actual salary will be based on qualifications, competencies, and location. Base salary is just one part of the pay package at Riskified. All full-time regular employees receive a bonus target and are eligible to receive stock-based awards.
